Biology is a fantastically broad subject; from the details of a biochemical pathway to the arrangement of tissues and organs in an animal; from the life cycle of microscopic, single-celled organisms to the interactions between different species in an ecosystem. A-Level Biology will add substantial detail and intricacy to your knowledge of the living world, satisfying a natural interest that we all have in how living things (including us) work and how we interact with other organisms. You will also develop advanced practical skills both in the classroom, and outside on our field course. There will be opportunities to attend lecture days and we will support and guide you to extend your knowledge even further than the A-level course requires.
