As an important part of the KEGS Extended Curriculum, the school offers a very wide range of educational trips and visits for all year groups. These range from local visits and county-wide day trips, to UK based fieldwork trips and destinations including France, Germany, Iceland and Kenya and participation in worldwide expeditions, and everything in between.
Below is a guide to potential trips which parents may find useful. The list is not exhaustive, and not all trips mentioned will take place every year, but it will give parents an idea of what may be available to each year group. Many of our trips are optional, and details of our Foundation Governors’ Bursary Scheme, which offers small bursaries to assist students to finance their participation on some trips, can be found below.
We aim for all students to benefit from the opportunities offered by our ‘Extended Curriculum’ and provide support, as appropriate, for all students to access our KEGS Extended Curriculum Core Expectation (please see below).
