KEGS Alumni Network

The KEGS Alumni Network (KEGS-AN) is an online way for the KEGS alumni community to keep in touch with each other and the school. KEGS-AN is open to all former KEGS students, and past and present parents, staff and governors. It operates alongside the Old Chelmsfordians to provide a strong, diverse and flourishing alumni community.

KEGS-AN’s mission is to provide connectivity, inspiration and support between KEGS Alumni Network members, and the KEGS community, for the mutual benefit of all.

Our objectives are to:

Enable KEGS Alumni Network members to connect with each other, and with the KEGS community.
To encourage and support the KEGS Alumni Network community.
To further the interests of the school and its past and present students, teachers and parents.
To maintain a register of all KEGS Alumni Network members’ contact and other details

Benefits of KEGS Alumni Network

The old adage ‘It’s not what you know, it’s who you know’ is as relevant today as it has ever been, not just for the current students but for everyone at every stage of their life. If you are a former KEGS student, parent of a student or a staff member, you may join the KEGS Alumni Network. Once aboard, your benefits will include:

Connect

Advertise your own reunions and events (eg sporting, social, charitable, etc).
Receive and make contributions to KEGS Alumni Network News, KEGS News, the Old Chelmsfordians and the official KEGS Alumni Network social media sites.

Inspire

Participate in KEGS programmes for providing existing students with a window into the working world (careers carousels, mock interviews, work experience etc).
Provide mentors, internships and job opportunities for a well-educated and eager body of young people.

Support

Attend and/or support KEGS drama, music, sports activities
Attend and/or support KEGS Parents Association activities (eg. Christmas Raffle, Summer Festival, sponsorship opportunities).
Contribute to or fundraise for the School Fund.
