A centre of excellence for all generations

Our brand new Darwin Centre was formally opened by leading evolutionary expert Professor Richard Dawkins on 13 November 2009.    It is a brand new three-storey building containing the Sixth Form study centre, social area and careers library, and is linked to all surrounding facilities.  It contains the best in cutting-edge technology for the 320 Sixth Formers.  The total cost of the build was £2.4 million.
